About Brice Weaver - Photographer, Artist, Storyteller

Brice Weaver is a San Diego–based photographer whose work reflects a deep connection to place, time, and the quiet narratives that exist within both nature and memory.

Guided by the spirit of exploration that defined Jacques-Yves Cousteau and the reverence for light found in Ansel Adams’s work, Weaver approaches photography as a balance of adventure and meditation. His journeys have carried him from trekking to Mount Everest Base Camp to diving with great white sharks off Guadalupe Island — experiences that continue to shape his sense of scale, patience, and perspective.

Weaver’s process is rooted in slowing down — allowing light, weather, and time to unfold on their own terms. Whether working in 35mm film or digital, he seeks the moments most people walk past: the way wind shifts over water, the trace of a fading mural, the quiet geometry of a landscape at rest.

His images are less about documentation than observation — an invitation to see differently, to pause within the fleeting, and to find grace in impermanence. Through this approach, Weaver’s work bridges the natural and the human, revealing the beauty of what endures and the poetry of what fades.

Weaver’s photographs have been recognized internationally, including a 1st Place award in the International Photography Awards (Analog/Film – Architecture) and honors from the Tokyo International Foto Awards, affirming his continued pursuit of craft, vision, and timeless imagery.
