Brice Weaver is a San Diego–based photographer whose work explores the relationship between place, time, and memory, revealing the quiet narratives that exist within both natural landscapes and human environments.
Guided by a spirit of exploration and a reverence for light, Weaver approaches photography as both adventure and meditation. His journeys have carried him from trekking to Mount Everest Base Camp to diving with great white sharks off Guadalupe Island — experiences that continue to shape his sense of scale, patience, and perspective behind the camera.
Weaver’s creative process is rooted in slowing down and allowing moments to unfold organically. Working in both analog film and digital formats, he seeks the scenes most people pass without noticing: shifting wind across water, the fading trace of human presence, the quiet geometry of landscapes shaped by time. His photographs emphasize observation over spectacle, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and engage with the subtleties of the world around them.
Themes of impermanence, resilience, and connection run throughout his work. By bridging the natural and human environments, Weaver’s images explore what endures, what fades, and how memory becomes embedded within place.
His photographs have received international recognition, including 1st Place in the International Photography Awards (Analog/Film – Architecture) along with honors from the Tokyo International Foto Awards and other global competitions. Weaver is also a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP), reflecting his commitment to technical excellence and artistic growth.
